Costa Verde has once again carried out the Costa Verde Solidarity initiative. Under the slogan “Solidarity is contagious. For the tenth year running, the aim of this initiative is to make the Christmas season happier and more comfortable for those who need it most. To this end, Costa Verde invites all its employees and partners to donate food, clothing, footwear, various utensils and other items, which will then be given to an association in the municipality of Vagos, which in turn will distribute them to needy families in the municipality. This year’s partners were the Fonte Angeão Parish Social Centre and the Fonte de Angeão and Covão do Lobo Parish Council.
Costa Verde is a SA8000 – Social Responsibility certified company, reflecting the awareness of a set of concerns, both environmental and social, which directly or indirectly interfere with people’s daily lives. Since its decisions and initiatives always take into account the community in which it operates and the environment in which it operates, Costa Verde assumes its social responsibilities, taking into account respect for human rights, environmental protection, compliance with social standards, respect for ethical values and investment in the personal development of its employees.
With all this in mind, Costa Verde’s aim is to provide all these people with a better Christmas.
