Rita Machado and Catarina Bicker are the other faces behind this partnership with Costa Verde, who graduated in Ceramics and Glass Design, back in 2008, developed their brands and, later on, met again, in 2015, into embracing new projects together.

While holding different talents and personalities, they converge in the same physical space, located in Lisbon, where they work their brands, independently but always in parallel, in a synergy that has been created and multiplied, since then. At the studio, both ceramists create unique design pieces, through manual processes, buy giving them a unique and singular character, referring to the artisans, who provide them the inspiration. Despite the small-scale production, with always strictly controlled quantities, in order not to abdicate the quality that the pieces demand, we can find their work scattered across various corners of the world, thus representing the Portuguese talent. Faithful to their origins and Lusitanian inspiration, but always ready to innovate, the ceramic artists resort to a wide variety of techniques and materials, in an effort into bringing the client closer to the raw material, thus arousing sensations and evoking memories.
